Phase One of New Routes for NICE Bus Services Complete 
The first phase of new routes on the NICE bus services was rolled out this summer with routes serving the Rockville Centre Village area and Mercy Medical Center. Additional services will be added in a second phase that will begin in September.

Regional Transit Service in Rochester, is in the process of launching a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system that will transform how RTS communicates with customers. The CRM is a powerful tool that is helping RTS manage, track and analyze customer interactions. This will help RTS better understand customer needs, identify trends and increase overall customer satisfaction.

CDTA Hopes 'Purple' Rapid Transit Ready by 2018
The Capital District Transportation Authority has announced plans to have a "purple" line ready by 2018. The purple rapid transit bus would take riders from downtown Albany to SUNY Albany and then to Crossgates Mall.

NYPTA is proud to invite you to participate in the Transit, Technology & Smarter Communities Fall Conference and Expo October 18-20 at the Desmond Hotel & Conference Center in Albany. Among our featured speakers is NYSDOT Commissioner, Matthew Driscoll. He will speak on public transit across our state as part of the Transit Industry Breakfast on October 20. Robbie Sarles, of RLS & Associates will also be representing the NYSDOT with her two part presentation on drug and alcohol testing.

NYSDOT to Host Public Meeting on Taconic State Parkway Intersection
Join the New York State Department of Transportation and the Town of Putnam Valley for a public hearing/information meeting. The meeting will address the proposed improvements for the Taconic State Parkway intersection with Pudding Street in Putnam Valley, Putnam County. 
 
The meeting will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Putnam Valley High School located at 146 Peekskill Hollow Road, Putnam Valley. It will begin with an open-house format, followed by a brief, formal presentation beginning at 7:00 PM.
